Travel Advisor Wins Folio Magazine Honors

Alexandria, VA, November 6, 2018 – The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) today announced that Travel Advisor, its new quarterly magazine launched in May 2018, has been named one of Folio magazine’s 2018 Folio: 100 honorees.
"Being included with the likes of Condé Nast, The Economist and Harvard Business Review in Folio’s 2018 honorees in our first year of publication is hugely gratifying and testament to the hard work of the ASTA staff, especially our Communications Director Erika Richter," said Eben Peck, ASTA Executive Vice President, Advocacy. “We launched Travel Advisor earlier this year with the goal of better serving our members and travel industry partners with relevant and compelling content. We’re off to a great start and look forward to continuing the momentum in Year 2.”
According to Folio, The Folio: 100 list “recognizes media professionals for the tangible impact they’ve had in their jobs, on their companies and brands, or on the industry at large. These honorees represent every sector: consumer, b2b, regional, enthusiast, association, and more.” Folio will honor this year’s class at the Folio: 100 Celebration Luncheon on December 6, 2018 at the Yale Club in New York City.
