Melissa is an internationally-certified Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist. She has worked over the years to develop a strong relationship with travel partners, resort management, and wedding coordinators. Melissa visits preferred partner resorts frequently because she believes in continuing education within the hospitality industry. She travels several times a year to attend conferences, expos, educational trainings and to preview new resorts to keep her up to date on the latest travel trends. Melissa launched her travel career in 2010 and today owns Modern Romance Travel. Modern Romance Travel plans once-in-a-lifetime vacations including: destination weddings, honeymoons, cruises, and tours for singles, couples, friends and groups. Melissa is a destination bride herself and was married in Bora Bora, French Polynesia. She resides in San Ramon, CA (USA) with her husband and their 2 children.
