Leatta Perdue currently works in the suburb of New Orleans at Travel Central. Travel Central has been a American Express agency for over 18 years and as of 2016 made the move up to be an Signature Travel Agency. Leatta came to work for Travel Central in 2012 and in 2014 she was invited into the American Express exclusive division of travel agents as a Travel Insider, a program that launched in 2014 for American Express customers to receive customized itineraries and recommendations from a curated set of destination experts that is made up of only 1% of AMEX travel agents. Leatta has an extensive background in travel. She graduated Travel School in San Francisco in 1998. She has worked in the leisure industry with a focus on customized European Travel for the last 18 years and has been fortunate to work in a broad range of positions giving her a comprehensive view of travel. For example, she was one of the first travel agents to work for Travelocity.com. That experience lead her to the managing position at QIXO.com in marketing the first airline search engine and introducing and implementing as a vendor option for airline ticketing. She also owned her own agency, specializing in the custom curated European Travel experiences.
