For me, travel is very personal. At a very early age, travel changed my life. Getting out of my small town and state opened my eyes to the wide world around me. I can remember talking to friends in high school who had never left the state, much less the country! That thought was just unfathomable to me. When I graduated from college I asked for travel funds. I intended to leave and come back when the money ran out, and that’s just what I did. During that trip I was able to see three countries, multiple cities, and meet friends from all over the world. I stood at the base of the Eiffel tower, smelled the ancient air in the theater at Delphi, and stared in wonder at the Sistine chapel. I was forever changed and my passion for travel became even more solidified.
