Martin Travel was founded in 1978 in Salem, Va. by Dr. Tom Martin, then athletic director at Roanoke College. When founded, Martin Travel was strictly for business travel but soon added cruises and other leisure travel. Over the past 32 years it has grown to be the largest supplier of leisure travel in western Virginia with offices in Roanoke, Lexington, Martinsville and Blacksburg, Virginia and continues to be the leading business travel firm in the area.
