Alexandria, VA—The American Society of Travel Advisors is pleased to announce our ASTA Board of Directors' newly elected Directors-at-Large, who will officially begin their two-year terms at the close of the
ASTA Global Convention in Puerto Rico next month. There were eight candidates vying for five open at-Large seats on the Board.
The following are the newly elected national Directors-at-Large, in alphabetical order:
- Kelly Bergin, CEO, Duglin Travel Group (elected to a second term)
- Kareem George, Principal; Founder, Culture Traveler, LLC (elected to a second term)
- Pamela Irwin, Vice President of Sales, ATB Travel
- Anita Pagliasso, Vice President of Industry Relations, KHM Travel Group
- Lee Thomas, COO, ALTOUR; President, Business Travel & The Travel Authority
The ASTA Board of Directors also welcomes Robert (Rob) Hale, Chief Operating Officer, Travel N Relax INC, as one of the Regional Director representatives, and
Amanda Klimak, President/Co-Owner, Largay
Travel, as a CAC Director.
Returning to the ASTA Board of Directors as the CAC Chair and new member of the Executive Committee is Kathy Bedell, Senior Vice President, BCD Travel.
Also returning is Rhonda Shumway, President, TerraMar Travel, Inc as the Small Business Network Director and Deb Belchak, President, Lazy Dayz Travel, as another one of the Regional Director representatives.
The Directors returning to the Board for the 2023-2024 term are as follows:

- Jackie Friedman, President, Nexion Travel Group
- Tiffany Hines, President & CEO, Global Escapes
- John Werner, President, MAST Travel Network
