SPONSORED EDITORIAL - INTRODUCING ENTERPRISE MOBILITY
On Oct. 26, Enterprise Holdings announced its new corporate brand: Enterprise Mobility.
The motivation behind the corporate brand shift is to reflect the business’ evolution from a fleet of seven cars, more than six decades ago, to a global network of diverse mobility solutions serving consumers, businesses and governments.
Meeting evolving needs
Enterprise Mobility was founded as a car leasing business and is best known today as the world’s largest car rental provider. Yet, the business has evolved immensely in terms of geography, offerings, and customer segments it serves.
“Today, we are a global mobility business with a full portfolio of offerings, including car rental, fleet management, flexible leasing, carsharing, vanpooling, car sales, truck rental, vehicle subscriptions, luxury rentals, technology solutions, and more. These are all under one corporate brand: Enterprise Mobility,” said Rob Connors, Vice President, Business Rental Sales and Business Development. “The rebranding reflects both who we are now and where we are headed.”
Enterprise continues to see more customers adopting solutions from multiple business lines to support a wide range of mobility needs. “Our new corporate brand reinforces our commitment to deliver exceptional service for partners, customers and communities, to innovate with intention to meet their evolving needs, and to connect Enterprise Mobility's full portfolio of offerings to make travel easier and more convenient for our customers.” said Connors.
A culture of excellence
The company’s focus on service has also been recognized by the travel industry. Enterprise Rent-a-Car earned two TravelAge West 2023 Wave Awards: Car Rental Company Providing the Best Travel Advisor Support and Car Rental Company Providing the Highest Client Satisfaction.
National and Enterprise brands were also named #1 and #2 in the annual Business Travel News (BTN) Car Rental Survey. This was the eighth consecutive year at #1 for National, and Enterprise captured the #2 spot for the seventh time. This award is voted on by travel buyers who rate their contracted car rental providers across critical performance areas including availability, ease of booking, and overall value.
“Maintaining our partnerships and demonstrating our value as a business partner has always been of utmost importance. Travel Advisors are a valuable part of this equation – helping to connect our brands to their clients,” said Connors
That’s why Enterprise Mobility has a dedicated sales team exclusively focused on supporting TMCs and their clients. “We know that a well-managed program involves collaboration across several areas. Together, we deliver best-in-class customer services for end-user customized programs for corporate clients along with valued access to our entire network of brands,” said Connors.
People-focused innovation
“Customers seek us out—and stay with us—because we strive to deliver a great experience with every transaction," said Rob Connors. “By combining modern technology, developing new tools and streamlining processes, Enterprise Mobility is optimizing customer experiences from the inside out.”
One example is the effort to remove the friction around critical steps in the rental journey. This includes a streamlined and expedited check-in process and a new digital self-service way to confirm or modify rental return dates and times.
Core values
Enterprise Mobility’s culture was built on a founding philosophy to “put customers and employees first, and everything else will follow.” This enduring set of values guides every interaction, whether with customers, partners or the communities where they do business.
More than $84 million was donated to charitable organizations worldwide by Enterprise Mobility through its operating groups and the Enterprise Mobility Foundation in FY23.
“A core founding value at Enterprise Mobility is: ‘We strengthen our communities, one neighborhood at a time.’ Because our success is directly related to the success of the communities we serve, we support and engage with organizations, causes and issues where we see opportunity to help make those communities stronger and promote long-term growth,” said Connors.
The new corporate brand – Enterprise Mobility – supports that mission to serve. “We believe we must constantly innovate to deliver people-first experiences in the rapidly evolving area of mobility. We’re excited for this next chapter,” said Connors.
