While raising 5 children, I believed travel was one of the best educations I could give them. Over the years I planned dozens of trips throughout Europe, the Caribbean and the U.S. for our family, while keeping an eye out for ways to keep costs down without sacrificing a fantastic, immersive and even luxurious experience. Today, now that my kids are grown, I do a lot of solo travel and cruises.
