A native of Iowa, Jeremiah's fascination with Asia began in college when he embarked on a quest to China to seek out the Guqin, a musical instrument with a long and rich history. Two decades later, he calls Southeast Asia his home, living close to the majestic ruins of Angkor. He explores the diverse and hidden wonders of Southeast Asia and China on a regular basis, always on the lookout for new and exciting experiences. He is passionate about ancient musical instruments, history, linguistics, nature, and animals. His countries of expertise include Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, China, Nepal and Bhutan.
