When I was 10, a girlfriend and I used to dream about stowing away on a ship to Europe and working our way from town to town all through Europe. When I was 17, I worked as a ticket auditor for Ozark Airlines in St. Louis. Years later, a friend asked me to help her with the paperwork to buy a travel agency. I did and I went to work with her for two and one half years. Then I opened FOX Travel in 1984. My husband, Jim, gave up his oilfield career to join me in the agency in 1991. My daughter, Jennifer, started working with me when she was 15 years old in 1985. Now, Fox Travel is the oldest, continually owned & operated agency serving our community since 1984.
