A station wagon, a borrowed pop-up camper with Dad, Mom and six kids below the age of eight head out for a "FREE" vacation at a lake resort in Arkansas. This was my first travel experience. Did everything go wrong that could go wrong? Yes! But Dad came up with a back-up plan that turned it all around. It is my most memorable vacation and what gave me "the travel bug" from then on. I've flown the red eye flights, driven miles on end, slept on couches - whatever it took to see the USA. Now I travel the world - and I do it in style, living the dream!
